Why This Matters Beyond the Spreadsheet
I want to be honest about something: the technical complexity of this solution is low. A developer could build this in an afternoon. But that is precisely the point.
The value was never in the code. The value was in the decision to think systematically about a recurring problem instead of solving it manually one more time. Most institutions — schools, universities, small businesses — are full of these invisible inefficiencies. Tasks that take hours every month, performed by skilled people who have better things to do, using methods that were never designed to scale.
AI did not replace the teacher in this story. It gave the teacher back their time.

The wrong version: "How do I filter this spreadsheet today?"
The right version: "How do I ensure no one in this department ever has to manually filter a spreadsheet again?"
