A New Intelligence, Born in Bangladesh
For years, Bangladeshi students, professionals, and entrepreneurs have had access to the world's most powerful AI tools — but always at a distance. The language was foreign. The payment required a dollar-denominated card. The cultural context was absent. BCS, NCTB, RMG, BUET — these words meant nothing to the models that were supposed to help.
That distance ends today.
NaBaB (নবাব) — Bangladesh's first fully agentic, Bangla-native AI platform — is now in active testing, and it represents something far more significant than another chatbot. It is a declaration: that Bangladesh deserves world-class AI in its own language, at its own price, built with its own context.
"বাঙ্গালী বাবা, দেবেন সেবা" — NaBaB's founding tagline captures what no foreign platform can: the warmth, directness, and cultural intelligence of Bangladesh itself.
What NaBaB Actually Does
Most AI tools are conversational — they answer questions. NaBaB goes further. In Agent Mode, powered by Claude Sonnet 4.5, NaBaB operates as an autonomous digital colleague with six built-in tools:
- Web Search — real-time information retrieval
- Read URL — reads and summarizes any webpage
- Write File — creates documents, reports, and code files
- Read File — processes uploaded documents
- List Files — manages file workspace
- Execute Python — runs code, performs calculations, processes data
The free tier, powered by Gemini 2.5 Flash, provides unlimited daily chat (up to 100 messages) — no credit card required, no dollar conversion, no barriers. New users receive 50 free credits upon signup.
The Problem NaBaB Solves
The gap between global AI tools and Bangladeshi users is not merely technical — it is structural. Consider the following comparison:
| Barrier | Foreign AI Tools | NaBaB's Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Payment | Dollar cards only | bKash, Upay, UCB Bank |
| Language | Generic Bangla responses | Fully Bangla-native, "আপনি" form |
| Context | No knowledge of BCS, NCTB, RMG | Built with Bangladeshi context |
| Price | ৳2,500–৳3,500/month | Starting from ৳100 |
The pricing model is transparent: 1 credit = 1 Taka. No hidden fees. No subscription traps. Recharge bonuses at every tier — from ৳100 (100 credits) to ৳2,000 (2,500 credits + 500 bonus).
The Architecture Behind NaBaB
For those interested in the technical foundation: NaBaB is built on React 19 and FastAPI, with MongoDB as the primary data store. The AI layer uses a smart routing system — Claude Sonnet 4.5 for deep reasoning and agentic tasks, Gemini 2.5 Flash for fast, free-tier conversations — all unified under a single brand identity called NaBaB Universe.
The agent loop is bounded at 8 rounds per session with per-tool credit metering, ensuring predictable costs and preventing runaway usage. The backend currently passes 52/52 tests in production.
What Comes Next
NaBaB is currently in testing mode, with a Google Play Store submission in progress. The roadmap ahead is ambitious:
- Phase C: Auto Vercel deploy + GitHub push + Live preview iframe
- Phase D: Role-based personas (Student / Teacher / Professional), Voice input, Image generation
- Phase E: Achievement badges, Referral system, Campus edition
- Phase F: API access, White-label licensing, Subscription tiers
The five-year vision is unambiguous: when a Bangladeshi says "AI," the first name they think of should be NaBaB.
Why This Matters Beyond Technology
At Rashik — The Awakening, our core philosophy is "Reconnecting Intelligence With The Soul." NaBaB is the technological expression of that philosophy applied to an entire nation. Intelligence — artificial or human — must be accessible, contextual, and culturally grounded to be truly useful.
Bangladesh has 170 million people, a rapidly growing digital economy, and a generation of students and professionals hungry for tools that understand them. NaBaB is not just a product. It is infrastructure for a more equitable AI future.
We are watching this journey closely. And we are proud to be among the first to say: this is something real.
