The Peripheral Reception Hypothesis (PRH): Hair Follicle Mechanoreception, Cardiac Electromagnetic Environment, and the Heart as the Primary Signal Processor

G.K.M. Jarif Ur Rahim·Binary Interface of Consciousness (BIC)

Proposes the Peripheral Reception Hypothesis — that the body's 2-5 million hair follicles function as a distributed antenna system receiving environmental signals, while the heart's electromagnetic field (60× stronger than the brain's) conditions the processing environment for all incoming peripheral signals. Extends the BIC framework to encompass the full signal processing cycle from environmental reception to binary decision.

The Binary Interface of Consciousness: A Formal Mathematical and Theoretical Framework

G.K.M. Jarif Ur Rahim·Binary Interface of Consciousness (BIC)

Presents the formal mathematical framework for the BIC model using Shannon information theory. Defines the Criterion Function C = f(E, U, I), formalises the entropy collapse from high cognitive noise to zero at the moment of heart-based binary decision, and proposes the Synthetic Qalb architecture for AGI with three testable predictions.

The Binary Interface of Consciousness: Solving the AI Black Box Problem through the Heart-Brain Axis

G.K.M. Jarif Ur Rahim·Binary Interface of Consciousness (BIC)

Argues that the AI Black Box problem and the Hard Problem of Consciousness share a single root cause: treating the brain (probabilistic processor) as the complete system while ignoring the heart's deterministic binary interpreter function. Proposes the Synthetic Qalb — a transparent, auditable binary gate — as an architectural solution for traceable AGI decision-making.

The Binary Interface of Consciousness: Reconnecting Intelligence with the Soul Across Global Traditions

G.K.M. Jarif Ur Rahim·Binary Interface of Consciousness (BIC)

Introduces the Binary Interface of Consciousness (BIC) framework — a three-layer architecture (Soul as Software, Brain as Hardware, Heart as Interpreter-Kernel) validated across Islamic theology (Qalb), Hindu philosophy (Hridaya), Buddhist thought (Citta), and Western mysticism (Nous). Grounded by HeartMath Institute neurocardiology research establishing the heart's electromagnetic dominance.

The Quantum Observer Framework: Aligning Universal Intelligence via Dimensional Pipelines

G.K.M. Jarif Ur Rahim·Rashik Philosophical Framework

A novel framework applying quantum mechanics' observer effect to address AI's black box opacity. Proposes a 4-layer dimensional architecture (Knowledge Dimension, Soul/Observer, Universal Intelligence, Functional Body) and argues that the solution lies in crossing dimensional thresholds rather than scaling data.

Reconnecting Intelligence With The Soul: A Foundational Framework for the Convergence of Consciousness, Knowledge, and Artificial Intelligence

G.K.M. Jarif Ur Rahim·Rashik Philosophical Framework

Introduces the RIWS (Reconnecting Intelligence With The Soul) framework — proposing that the convergence of human consciousness (the soul) and applied intelligence (both human and artificial) represents the essential survival strategy for humanity in the age of AI.

The Ruh Doctrine v2: Consciousness, Free Will, and the Philosophical Bridge Between Tawhid and Trinitarian Unity

G.K.M. Jarif Ur Rahim·Rashik Philosophical Framework

Presents 'The Ruh Doctrine' as a conceptual framework for examining consciousness and free will through a philosophical bridge between Islamic Tawhid and Trinitarian unity. Clarifies scope and limitations, outlines core claims, and proposes a research agenda for scholarly engagement.

Research Philosophy

The Rashik Philosophical Framework

All research published under this profile is part of two interconnected series: the foundational Rashik Philosophical Framework and the Binary Interface of Consciousness (BIC) series — an interdisciplinary body of work that explores consciousness, the heart-brain axis, artificial intelligence, neurocardiology, and comparative theology.

The central thesis is that the heart functions as a deterministic binary interpreter between the soul and the brain — and that the AI Black Box problem arises from the absence of this interpreter layer. The BIC framework proposes the Synthetic Qalb as an architectural solution for transparent, traceable AGI.

These papers are published as pre-prints on Zenodo (CERN) to invite open academic discourse, peer review, and collaborative refinement. They represent working frameworks with testable predictions.
